Police arrest suspected cultist, recover human skull
The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has have arrested a suspected cultist and recovered several items, including a human skull, while he is said to also specialises in vandalising electric transformers and cables.
Penpushing reports that the Command Public Relations Officer, Timfon John, in a statement gave identity of the suspect as Pius Pius, who was arrested on Sunday in Oku Abak, Abak Local Government Area of the state.
“During interrogation, Mr Pius confessed to being a member of the Iceland Confraternity, a group reportedly involved in the destruction of critical public infrastructure’, the statement stated.
“A search of his room led to the recovery of the following items: a human skull, one transformer step-down insulator, one circuit breaker, one electric meter, and fuses’, the police spokesperson added.
