Oyo State youths go spiritual on anti-robbery squad protests, blocks all entries to government house, secretariat

Hundreds of youths have converged on major roads leading to Oyo State Government house and secretariat to embark on prayers for divine intervention towards their protest against the activities of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in the country.

Penpushing reports that, the youths as at Sunday evening blocked the entrance of the government house, and government secretariat located in Agodi in continuation of their protest, with aim to conduct a vigil.

The youths who spoke with our correspondent emphasized that  they are doing it for Nigeria and  Nigerians, and better future of the children in order to brings an end to bad governance in the country

Penpushing further reports that one of the protesters, Abiodun Ayomide said that the prayer work was about Nigeria in general, saying that “we have narrowed down the protest to God; our prayer is about Nigeria as a whole’

“The decadence in Nigeria is not just about the security aspect alone, it encompasses all sectors. We are praying to God to change the story of Nigeria, we all youths across the state is here because we love Nigeria and we want a better country, that is why we are praying to God’.

“Only God knows the destiny of Nigeria and where Nigeria would be, so no leaders can do it, that is why we are paying for God to filled the heart of our leaders so that all can be well for our dear country, If God filled our leaders heart, he will changed the heart of those one that is wicked’.
