Oyo state environment commissioner dies

The Commissioner for Environment in Oyo State, Hon Kehinde Ayoola has died, but the source of the death still remained sketchy as at the time of filing this report, while a source said he died on Thursday after brief illness.
Penpushing reports that,the deceased, a former Speaker in the state under the administration of Lam Adesina, until his death was a serving Commissioner, and his sudden demise through the entire Oyo town into confusion and mourning as at the time of this report
The Oyo-born politician represented Oyo East/Oyo West State Constituency between 1999 to 2003 under the Alliance for Democracy (AD), and also served as the Director General of the Seyi Makinde Campaign Organization in 2015 under the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Penpushing further reports that,he was the Deputy Director General of the Omituntun Campaign Organization that ushered in the present administration in Oyo State in 2019.
Meanwhile, the Oyo State Commissioner for Information and Mass Mobilization, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun while reacting to the sad news in an emotion laden voice said, “it is true. We just lost him”,adding that he will be remembered for his altruistic service to Oyo State since his emergence on the political turf in 1999.
