OYO POLICE COMMISSIONER SEEKS SUPPORT OF JOURNALISTS IN COMBATING CRIME
The Commissioner added that journalists should continue to support and always assist the police in ensuring security of lives and properties in the State, stressing, ’there should be cordial relationship between the Police and Journalists in sustenance of peace and security in Oyo State, let us all collectively build up security in this State so that we can have a peaceful environment’.
“Without journalists, member of the public may not know what is going on in the town, let us all play our role in ensuring a peaceful atmosphere, the police is ready to work with you, we are all here to serve the members of the public and to ensure security in this State”, he added
Penpushing further reports that, Olukolu urged journalists to be professional in their reportage, noting that the police is always ready to perform their constitutional responsibilities which is safety of lives and properties of the citizens.
The Chairman of the Correspondents Chapel, Pastor Ola Ajayi, assured that the Police Command in the State shall continue to enjoy the maximum cooperation and symbiotic relationship of the Correspondents Chapel.
