OYO POLICE COMMAND DECORATE 5 NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS

The Police boss called on the newly promoted officers to always ensure that they serve as a motivator for themselves and their subordinates, adding that they should remain committed to the objective of the Inspector General of Police in ensuring protection of life’s and properties of individuals.

“We thank the IGP for giving us the platform in 2019 in terms of equipments, personnel and welfare under the able supervision of Assistant Inspector General of Police, Leye Oyebade, we shall continue to thrive to do more in 2020’.

“We thank the IGP for being gracious for the recommendation of our officers to the Police Service Commission (PSC), this has served as a leap to the work of our officers’, the commissioner of police said.

Penpushing further reports that while speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, DCP Akorh Gabriel who was just promoted from the post of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) thanked the Inspector General of Police ( IGP) for submitting their promotion recommendation to the Police Service Commission(PSC), as well as  the Police Service Commission(PSC) for considering the recommendation of the Inspector General of Police.

“PSC could have turned down the recommendation because not all the names that were submitted by the IGP to the PSC were promoted’, the promote  said, and also thanked  the Commissioner of Police Shina Olukolu for bearing their shortcomings during their time of waiting for the promotion, promising that they will live up to the expectations of the people.
