OYO HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY MOVES TO EVACUATE DESTITUTES

The Lawmakers, while deliberating on a motion brought to the House by Ho Bimbo Olajide; tilted “Urgent Need To Extend The Divider To the Flyover At Mokola To Prevent Accidents And Evacuate Destitutes From The Vicinity” moved that the Executive Arm through the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community Development, Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation ,evacuate destitutes from Mokola round-about area, and close up spaces at the terminal’s ends and put measures in place to make rehabilitation centers in the state more functional.

The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, also ruled that the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA) to find a lasting solution to the flagrantly disobey traffic rules with impunity that eventually lead to loss of lives at Mokola Flyover.

Penpushing further reports that, in the same vein, the Assembly  also observed first reading of the Oyo State Investment Promotion Agency Bill, 2019. A bill for a law to promote the establishment of the Oyo State investment promotion Agency and other matter connected therein.
