OYO FEDERAL LAWMAKER, OLATOYE ‘SUGAR’ SHOT DEAD AT COLLATION CENTRE

The Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, Toye Akinrinlola, when contacted confirmed that the lawmaker did not survive, adding that, “there is nothing to hide about it, he is dead. He was brought in unconscious because he was shot in the eye.”

Penpushing further reports that, the deceased contested the Senatorial seat of Oyo Central Senatorial District two weeks ago but lost to Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress(APC).He represented Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency at the House of Representatives

When the Oyo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi, was contacted he said the matter “has not been officially reported,” but that the command was investigating it.

His words, “you should exercise patience so that we can get the facts because it has not been officially reported. We will need to get the facts before we can come out and tell you what it is, please be patient.”
