
Owu High Chief, Baagbimo Michael Ogunseye, wife visit Penpushing Media corporate headquarters
A High Chief of Owu Kingdom in Egbaland, Baagbimo Michael Kolawole Ogunseye and his wife Toyin Ogunseye who is Yeye Baagbimo of Owu Kingdom on Monday paid a courtesy visit to corporate headquarters of Penpushing Media.
Penpushing reports that the couple arrived the headquarters of the media outlet located in Lemme axis of Moshood Abiola way, Abeokuta at about 3.45pm and ushered into the office, where they were conducted round.
The United Kingdom based Owu indigene of Egbaland, South West of Nigeria, however, during the visit led a prayer session towards the successful growth of the organization and equally commended the management and editorial board of the media outlet.

Penpushing further reports that Ogunseye pointed out that the success story of the organization within seven years of operations was remarkable, stressing that it is highly impressive and remarkable to see how well Penpushing Media is doing
The Founder of the globally known media outfit, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji earlier in his welcome speech, recalled the journey of the organization, and its relevance in the media industry since it commenced operations.
Penpushing also reports that the renowned journalist highlighted how integrity paved the way for him to build long-lasting relationships with top personalities across Nigeria and beyond, which later contributed to the growth of the media outfit.
The founder explained that although he started his career as a print journalist, explaining that having worked as journalist for over three decades with number of media houses, he got instinct to establish Penpushing Media.
‘I was in my sitting room about eight years ago, which was on my birthday, July 19, when an instinct told me what can I contribute to the dwindling situation of journalism with the advent of social media which is killing the profession’, he stated

‘It was at that stage, I took up the challenge to establish Penpushing Media, which started like a child play, but I can boldy say that integrity has been the tonic of our success story, as many people and highly placed personalities keyed into the project’, he explained
‘Infact, in my career as a journalist, I have been a print journalist, but when we introduced live transmission of events to our activities, I thought the need to know more nitty gritty of broadcasting, which made me to return to Crescent University to acquire more knowledge on broadcasting’, Kayode-Adedeji added
“The advantage of going back to class is that it motivated me and gave me the passion for online broadcasting, which has now grown into another initiative for Penpushing Media. The knowledge acquired at the university further paved way for additional improvement and today we operate online broadcasting services across the globe’, Kayode-Adedeji emphasized.
Penpushing reports that he disclosed that the organization as at the time of the visit had trained over eighty journalism students, who came for internship and doing well on completion of their training.

“The advantage of going back to class is that it motivated me and gave me the passion for online broadcasting, which has now grown into another initiative for Penpushing”, he said.
Penpushing further reports that the founder told the guests that, the organization which is first to commence online newspaper operations in Abeokuta, where journalism started, equally introduced Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) into its operations, with training and support for indigent students, less privileged and provision of food items to motherless homes among others.
The founder equally disclosed that Penpushing Media is also in partnership with number of credible organisations both international and national, citing examples which include United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), Leading Women of Africa (LWA) Group (South Africa) as well as membership of International Press Institute (IPI), Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) and Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) among others
Penpushing also reports that Kayode-Adedeji said the establishment is equally known for positive contributions to developmental growth of the country, with annual anniversary lecture series, which focused on germane issues as a way to proffer solutions to identified problems across the world, adding that Penpushing Media has won awards in journalism profession
The founder added that the organization in adding credibility, parades highly class editorial board which include Funke Fadugba (Chairman), Sir Eddy Aina, Chief Femi Shodunke, Yemisi Fadairo and Barrister Benjamin Ogunmodede
Penpushing reports that in same vein, he boasted that the establishment parades cerebral members of anniversary committee comprising Dr Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi (Chairperson), Sina Adefolahan (Secretary), Otunba Gbenga Onayiga, Hon Remmy Hazzan, Toyin Ogunbomehin, Dr Adewunmi Alayaki and Oluwaseun Shodiya
The founder equally listed past guest lecturers/keynote speakers of the annual lecture which include late Prof Oye Ibidapo-Obe(Former Vice Chancellor University of Lagos), Mr Roland Kayanja(Country Director United Nations Information Centre), Prof Oluyemisi Obilade(Former Vice Chancellor Tai Solarin University of Education), Dr Chichi Aniagolu-Okoye(Regional Director for West Africa, Ford Foundation),, Prof Suleiman Bogoro(Former TETFUND Executive Director), Dr Otive Igbuzor(Founding Director, African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development Centre) and Dr Oby Ezekwesili(Founder, Human Capital Africa)
