OSUN GOVERNMENT RECEIVES 12 LIBYA RETURNEES

 The Director of Operation, of Osun State Emergency Management Agency, Akin Adetuberu, told journalists on Monday in Osogbo that the returnees should be aware of the fact that, anybody seeking a better job outside Nigeria should follow due process

He stated that Governor Rauf Aregbesola is always concerned about the plight of Osun indigenes within and outside the country, and also commended the governor for his timely response on the transportation of the returnees to the state.

The NEMA boss disclosed that the Osun indigene Libya returnees faced a lot of hardship in the land because they lack the necessary travelling papers.

The Assistant Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, Tickman Tanimu in his remarks praised the governor for attending to the immediate needs of the evacuated Osun indigene in Libya.

Similarly, one of the returnees, Jimoh Aisha, thanked the governor for the fatherly role played for her and other returnees by sending government officials to bring them back home amidst all odds.

Aisha who claimed to hail from Ikirun promised that the memory of this goodwill of the state Governor shall continue to be evergreen in their lives.

Speaking, Commissioner for Sports, Special Needs and Social Intervention, Biyi Odunlade who received the returnees in Osogbo on Saturday, said the government has camped the returnees and is attending to their welfare, adding that government was profiling the returnees for proper documentation and further necessary action.
