Osoba to commission league of journalists’ secretariat
The former Ogun State Governor and veteran journalist, Chief Olusegun Osoba will on Monday, April 29, 2024 lead dignitaries and other media practitioners to the commissioning of the new office of the League of Veteran Journalists, Oyo State Chapter.
Penpushing reports that the Chairman of the League Banji Ogundele made this known in a statement disclosing that the new office is situated within the premises of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) press centre Iyangaku, Ibadan the state capital.
The number one veteran journalist in Oyo State added that Chief Niyi Akintola, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) is the chairman of the occasion, disclosing that the building constructed through direct labour cost N13million
‘The league of veteran journalists Oyo State Chapter is commissioning its new office on Monday, April 29, 2024. Commissioning is by Aremo Olusegun Osoba, former Governor of Ogun State. The Chairman of the occasion is Chief Niyi Akintola, SAN’, the statement reads.
Penpushing further reports that the statement said the Ogun State Chairman of the League of Veteran Journalists, His Royal Highness, Oba Olufemi Ogunlele, Towulade of Akinale, is one of the Special Guests at the ceremony.
