Oniroyin Supportive Initiative to empower families of deceased journalists

A Non-Governmental Organisation(NGO), Oniroyin Supportive Initiative is set for the launch of maiden edition of its empowerment programme for families of deceased journalists in Ogun State, towards ensuring their well-being.

Penpushing reports that the convener of the initiative, Ambassador Tunde Oladunjoye and Chairman Deaconess Funke Fadugba made this known in a statement disclosing that the launch will hold on Thursday, February, 2025.

The statement added that the inaugural empowerment is to take place at Basic Trust International, beside Providus Bank, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, where there will be a public presentation of cheques and grants to the beneficiaries.

‘We are delighted to inform the public that the launch of maiden edition of the empowerment programme for families of deceased journalists in Ogun State, organized by the Oniroyin Support Initiative will come up on Thursday, 27th February, 2025’, the statement stated.

Penpushing further reports that the statement explained that the project was in furtherance of the initiative noble objectives, as it equally appreciated tremendous support for humanitarian causes in the society

‘In furtherance of its noble objectives, the Oniroyin Support Initiative has concluded arrangements to organize a public presentation of cheques and grants to select beneficiary families of deceased journalists towards ensuring their continued well-being’, the statement emphasized
