
Olufemi Afolabi declares interest in assembly position in ogun state under African democratic congress
A young vibrant politician Hon. Olufemi Thomas Afolabi has formally declared his intention to contest the house of Assembly position from Obafemi-Owode local government in Ogun State under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Penpushing reports that Afolabi made the declaration at the party’s local government secretariat where party leaders, members, and supporters were present to receive him and the team.
The Chairman of the party in the local government Hon. Lasisi Ramon, popularly known as Aimasiko who led other executive to receive the team commended Afolabi for choosing African Democratic Party (ADC) platform and assured them of full cooperation as the party prepares for the next political cycle.

Penpushing further reports that Afolabi while speaking at the meeting expressed his commitment to strengthening the party’s visibility and grassroots appeal, with a pledge to support the transformation of the party secretariat.
The aspirant pointed out that his team is prepared to make the African Democratic Congress (ADC) the preferred choice across the local government, announcing that as part of his contribution to party development, every ward in the local government will enjoy a functional and standard party secretariat.

Penpushing also reports that Afolabi said the twelve wards deserve structures that reflect the party’s seriousness and readiness for governance, as a party members described the meeting as a positive step for the All Progressives Congress (ADC).
The members added that Afolabi’s entry was a boost for African Democratic Congress (APC), while the meeting ended with expressions of unity and a shared commitment to growing the party’s influence throughout the local government.
