Olubadan’s younger brother, Kola Balogun lambasts Governor Makinde over maladministration

The younger brother of Oba Lekan Balogun, Olubadan of Ibadaland, Senator Lekan Balogun has tonguelashed the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, who he accused of selfishness as the Governor of the State.
Penpushing reports that Balogun tackled Makinde while speaking during his official decamp from Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to All Progressive Congress (APC), arguing that, some projects embarked by Makinde such as the ‘Light up Oyo’ was waste of state resources.
The federal lawmaker, who urged All Progressives Congress (APC) members on need to secure their voters cards, stressed that, that was only good and reliable way to send packing Makinde and his administration away from the state
Penpushing further reports that, Balogun emphasized that the Governor was only serving his own personal interest at the expense of the masses, and called on electorate to shine their eyes ahead of forthcoming general election in the state.
The lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin while declaring his ambition to contest for Governorship seat in the state declared that the worst of the six governorship aspirants in All Progressives Congress(APC) was better than Seyi Makinde.
Penpushing also reports that, Folarin pointed out and declared that he decided to refrain from commenting on the activities of Governor Makinde because he wanted to give him an honeymoon.
“All what you can see as tangible things are projects done by Makinde’s predecessor. We are resolute on changing him and he is gone. Two weeks ago, I was here and gave a warning to Makinde and Mukaila Lamidi. Since that day, have you seen them repeating the ugly past by beating members of our party?
Penpushing reports that, the Senator, who was fuming over alleged maladministration of Makinde emphasized that, he and other chieftains of the party will use every democratic means to get the Govenor out of office in next election.
