Olori of late Oba Olufemi Ogunleye, Olanike is dead

The wife of late traditional ruler of Akinale Oba Olufemi Ogunleye of Owu Kingdom, Olori Olanike Ogunleye has been reported dead at age of 66

Penpushing reports that the Olori died at a private hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital on Monday morning after a brief illness, a sad incident which occurred one and half years after demise of her late husband who was the Towulade of Akinale and a renowned journalist

The Olori until her death was General Manager of bookshop of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library(OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, and had previously worked as a teacher at St Saviour primary school in Lagos.

Penpushing further reports that the Ijesa born deceased later moved to Corona Schools as head of school, and she is blessed with two children, step children, sister, brothers,nieces and nephews.

Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report the remains of Ogunleye who was a golfer,was an active member of Ladies Golfers Association of Nigeria had been deposited in the morgue, while the family will be meeting to discuss and announce burial arrangements in due course
