OGUN VIGILANTE SERVICE TO KEEP VIGIL AGAINST CRIME AT EID-IL-KABIR CELEBRATION
Penpushing further reports that, the Command said that every Muslim brothers, sisters and well wishers in the State should entertain no fear whatsoever as officers and men, Zonal Commanders, Local Government and LCDA Commanders are already charged to be on their toes’
The statement said this is to ensure that security of the Muslims prayer grounds, Mosques, places of worship and a number of other places where the celebration of the festival will take place all over the State are under watch and adequate security.
The organization also called on celebrants and other stakeholders to stay away from any act that could disrupt peace in the cause of the celebration or counter the cordial relationship in existence between various ethnic groups, religious beliefs.
‘Anything contrary to the joy expected in the cause of celebrating the festival will be severely dealt with. We hereby felicitate with our Muslim brethren and sisters on the occasion of this festival while we wish those performing their Hajj rites in Saudi Arabia a safe returning back to the country’ ,the statement added.
