Ogun State operates best civil service in Nigeria, says Governor Dapo Abiodun

The Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on Tuesday boasted that the state operates the best civil service in the country, having also produced reliable Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries.

Penpushing reports that, Abiodun made this known at the 3rd Annual General meeting of the Association of Retired Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries, Ogun State held virtually, and  equally thanked the association for its support to his administration  through well relevant suggestions and advice at all times.

The Governor specifically eulogised the Association of Retired Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries in Ogun State for laying solid foundation for effective and well trained civil service which he described as the best in the country

Penpushing further reports that, Abiodun  appealed to leaders of thought to help in persuading the youths to give peace a chance, adding that Ogun State under his watch will do all humanly possible to take care of the youths by implementing programmes that will benefit younger ones and the people in general.

The Chairman, Association of the Retired Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries, Otunba Babatunde Osokoya in his speech described the Governor as an achiever who has brought positive developments to the State.

Penpushing also reports that, Osokoya who was a onetime Secretary to Ogun State Government praised the Governor for the way he has handled the current situation in the State, adding that, that shows competence as an administrator
