Ogun state lawmaker appoints physically challenged person as special assistant
A member of Ogun State House of Assembly Hon Lukmon Adeleye, who is the minority leader has appointed a physically challenged man Adisa Isiaka popularly called ‘Bebe’ as Special Assistant to his office.
Penpushing reports that the lawmaker representing Odogbolu State Constituency announced appointment of Isiaka, a deaf and dumb in a letter presented to him, which indicated that he(appointee) is to resume effective from May 1, 2024
‘I have the pleasure to inform you that you have been appointed as my Special Assistant, based on our previous discussion. The appointment is based on your knowledge, experience, personal quality of hard work, honesty, and absolute loyalty’, the letter reads.
‘I would expect you to utilize all these qualities in facing the challenges of your office, to facilitate the attainment of our creative goals. Please, be informed that your salary will be Fifty thousand naira (50,000) per month, and your appointment takes immediate effect”, the letter added.
“Your duties shall include the usual duties of the office in which you are engaged and any other duties assigned to perform. This appointment may be terminated by giving you one month’s notice in writing or by paying you one month’s salary instead of the notice. Kindly know that this appointment will automatically lapse when the tenure of the 10th assembly comes to an end in Jun 2027”, the appointment letter reads.
