Ogun state government to train information, public relations officers for efficiency in service delivery

The Ogun State Government has concluded plans to organise a 2-day intensive training for selected Information and Public Relations Officers in the state public service for effectiveness and efficiency in service delivery.

Penpushing reports that the Permanent Secretary in the Bureau of Establishments and Training, Office of Head of Service, Mrs. Lydia Fajounbo made this known in a statement explaining that the retraining will hold between Wednesday, 18th to Thursday, 19th September, 2024 by 9:00 am each day.

The statement added that the theme of the training is “Upscaling Public Information Management Through Strategic Public Relations’, adding that it will take place at the Obas’ Complex, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, and to be declared open by the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya.

Penpushing further reports that Fajounbo emphasized that the exercise is part of laudable efforts of the Ogun State Government determination to keep training and retraining workers for effectiveness and efficiency in service delivery,
