Ogun state government to digitalize land purchase services
The Ogun State Government has concluded plans to launch the “Ogun State Land Administration and Revenue Management System” (OLARMS) portal, a step to eradicate bureaucratic bottlenecks associated with land purchase by private individuals and corporate organizations,
Penpushing reports that Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo in a statement said the portal is designed to provide a contemporary online solution for potential land buyers with a view to streamlining and ensuring seamless process of land purchase, administration and management in the State.
The statement, disclosed that the formal launch of the portal is scheduled for Tuesday, 26th October, 2021 at the Ogun Tech Hub, near President Muhammadu Buhari Estate, Kobape road, Abeokuta, the State capital beginning at 11.00am.
“As part of this administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for business, the OLARMS portal will among other things remove the bureaucratic bottlenecks in land purchase, provide transparency and accountability in land management, eliminate revenue leakages that hitherto exist, rebuild public trust in the process of land purchase and title documentation as well as provide the convenience in land related transactions”, Okubadejo
