Ogun state government extends payment of hajj fare to April 26
The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has extended the payment of outstanding hajj fare balance to Wednesday, April 26, 2023, so as to avail the intending pilgrims the opportunity to complete their actual payment of N2, 999,000.
Penpushing reports that the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda made this known while speaking with journalists in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, explaining that intending pilgrims are mandated to balance up on or before the extended date, as late payments would not be entertained’’.
The Board Executive Secretary pointed out that the extension was necessary to accommodate those who are yet to balance their outstanding, explain that the Eid-Fitri holiday was one of the reasons for the extension
Penpushing further reports that Daudu disclosed that medical test for intending pilgrims to ascertain their health status before embarking on the journey is ongoing, enjoining those who are yet to undergo the test to show up on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
The scribe, however, advised those who are yet to submit their International Passport to do so immediately in order to commence necessary documentation and processing of their visas with Saudi Arabian authority, as well as need for them to contact the Board Secretariat Complex for further clarifications.
