Penpushing member, Oluremi Olugbenro appointed General Manager Paramount F.M
A prominent member of Penpushing platform Oluremi Olugbenro has been appointed as General Manager of Paramount F.M Radio Station Abeokuta, an arm of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria(FRCN).
Penpushing reports that Olugbenro received her letter of appointment on Wednesday presented to her by Zonal Director of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria(FRCN), Mr Dominic Molikan at the Radio station located at Hilltop along Kobape-Abeokuta dual carriage road, Abeokuta.
The presentation was witnessed by management staff of Paramount F.M, describing the appointed as welcome development, stressing that Olugbenro merit the appointment having been a pioneer and first Indigenous staff of the 22 year old Radio Station.
Penpushing further reports that the letter with caption “Appointment As General Manager, Paramount F.M, Abeokuta”, dated July 28,2025 with reference number SEC/D/A.187/Vol.1/51 which was signed by Olubukola Shonibare(Head Secretariat/Legal Services said the appointment takes effect from August 1,2025
“I am pleased to inform you that management has approved your appointment as General Manager of Paramount F.M Abeokuta, Ogun State, effective from 1st August 2025′, the letter reads
“As General Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and strategic direction of Paramount FM Abeokuta in line with FRCN’s vision and corporate objectives, management expects that you will”, it added
Penpushing also reports that the authorities enjoined the new General Manager to ensure operational excellence and editorial integrity in the station’s content and services, as well as drive audience growth and revenue generation through innovative programming and effective marketing strategies.
The letter called on Olugbenro who takes over from Akinyinka Akintola, to provide leadership and mentoring to staff under her supervision, uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline and accountability in station management.
Meanwhile, Founder Penpushing Media Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji led some members of Penpushing platform to join Olugbenro at the presentation of her appointment letter, and was equally celebrated by the staffers of the station with thunderous ovation after receiving the letter
