OGUN SERVING FEDERAL LAWMAKER, MIKKY KAZZIM FLAG OFF SECOND TERM BID CAMPAIGN
The Federal lawmaker who is again eyeing the seat of Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda Federal Constituency launched his campaign on Wednesday at the Oba Adeleye Park popularly known as ‘Ori Omi’ Gardens located at Sokori area of Abeokuta, with hundreds of his supporters from the three local government comprising the constituency in attendance.
Penpushing also reports that, Governorship Candidate of Allied Peoples Movement(APM), Kunle Akinlade, the party Director General of Campaign, Alhaji Sarafa Ishola and other chieftains of the party were in attendance to grace the launch
The Candidate for the House of Representatives, Mukaila Kazzim while speaking said, his belief and conviction that he is on the side of masses made him to join Allied Peoples Movement (APM) to secure ticket for his political ambition.
‘It is no longer news that we have since moved towards victory with Allied Peoples’ Movement after the popular mandate given to me by the good people of Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda Federal Constituency was stolen and given to the son of one of those who perpetuated the most heinous electoral heist of all time’, Kazzim said.
‘Of course, I had an option of approaching the courts but the overwhelming support and outpour of solidarity by my people immediately after the fraud shows I can seek and get justice through the ballot, during general elections, regardless of the party we flag as our records speak volume of our acceptance and popularity’, he stated.
‘Today, I thank God that I am now a member of a truly Democratic Party and progressive movement to actualize your mandate. During my first term, It is on record that we delivered on a number of promises to my constituents to the extent that today I am nicknamed Mr. Empowerment’.
‘Insha Allah, when I am re-elected as your Honourable Member of House of Representatives, you will enjoy grand dividends of democracy in addition to robust sponsorship of bills and motions’, the second term seeking lawmaker emphasised
Penpushing further reports that, Kazzim pointed out that as we approach the general elections in February and March this year, 2019 and as part of the events that precede the elections,’ I will like to use this golden opportunity to inform you all that we shall commence our electioneering campaigns which will take us to all wards and Local government areas within my Federal Constituency’.
‘We shall be visiting various traditional institutions, artisans, youth, NGOs, market places and all stakeholders within our Constituency. I therefore call on everyone here, including the Leaders of our great progressive party, Allied Peoples’ Movement , to support me to officially flag off my electioneering campaign, which will, Insha Allah, return me elected to the House of Representatives’.
