OGUN POLICE COMMISSIONER ADMITS POSITIVE ROLES OF PCRC IN CRIME FIGHTING
The Governor represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa donated the money, to support PCRC activities in the state while addressing members at the occasion.
“In 2011, Ogun State was rated number 35 in the business and security index but with your input it has improved to be among the first four states in Nigeria in time of doing business”, the governor stated
However, the State Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee,(PCRC) Alhaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, lauded the Governor and Commissioner of Police for their efforts in fighting crimes and making the State secured for business activities.
Olaniyan said that the governor had been committed to ensuring security in the state through his policy of administration.
His words “I wish to express our gratitude and appreciation to our leader and father, the number one citizen of the State Senator Ibikunle Amosun for his unwavering commitment to ensure that citizens of this state go about their normal duties unmolested’.
“Our Governor remains best security friendly governor in the country today. Prior to his assumption of office seven years ago, we know where we were then and where we are today. Our governor has created the enabling environment for PCRC to succeed in this state. Today, it is uncontestable fact that the PCRC of Ogun State remains the reference point in the country, now leads while others follow’.
Olaniyan while lauding the Police Commissioner said that the State has become one of the best and most secured states for business and human dealings through his doggedness and commitment, urging members and citizens not to relent in efforts to provide information to the police for good service delivery.
