OGUN-OSUN RIVER BASIN TO BE RUN INDEPENDENTLY SOON,SAYS BOARD CHAIRMAN
He expressed optimism that the board will make remarkable achievements in this area, stating that the authority has both human and infrastructural potentials which shall be harness to drive improved generation
Lawal also spoke on the workers welfare, assuring that staff entitlements will be paid as and when due, and that emphasis would be placed on promotion and capacity building to enhance efficiency in the work place.
Hear him ,‘We would also work towards an improvement of the general working conditions to boost staff morale. Permit me here to state here without equivocation that under our watch, no staff will have reason to be frustrated’
Accompanied by other members of the board, which include; Prince Celestine Awor,Chief Akogun Rauf, Chief Clement Anozie andBarrister Adewale Adelakun,the chairman posited that the board would not work with disgruntled workforce, explaining that, on the other hand, the board shall not tolerate indiscipline among staffers at any time, at any level.
He also added further that the board will focus on all year round farming to boost food security and for wealth creation, stressing that, that the authority focus was to use agriculture, water resources, management and tourism to drive an agricultural revolution.
