OGUN MONARCH, OBA ADEDAPO TEJUOSO WRITES BUHARI
The renowned first class monarch while speaking further said he prepared the letter to the President Buhari, following a prophetic message which has it that the country should henceforth observe a National Day of praise.
His words, “when we praise God He will come down, cause a change in the country and bless us. Having received a message from a prophet of God, I have drafted this mail to be sent to the President that a National Day of Praise be declared at Abuja while the rest 36 states should also participate according to individual respective faith”.
The traditional ruler added, ” just about three weeks ago, I was in my bathroom when I was hearing the jingles for the just concluded Drum Festival, instantly God spoke to me and said, so they are having Drum Festival when will they have God’s festival? When will they worship me instead of my creatures?
Penpushing further reports, Oba Tejuoso said that it was about time people stopped worshipping God’s creatures instead of the almighty God himself saying that God was never happy with the disposition of adoring the works of His hands while neglecting Him, the creator of all things.
The monarch said it was on this note that as part of the major line up programmes for his 30th coronation anniversary, interdenominational 30 hours Marathon praise from 9am on Friday titled God’s Festival would hold at OOPL, Abeokuta.
Penpushing also reports that, Chairman, Planning Committee of the Anniversary, Chief Muideen Alabi Kazeem, earlier during press briefing held at palace of the traditional ruler said the people of Egba Oke- Ona are rolling out drums to celebrate their traditional ruler,noting that his peaceful reign had brought great prosperity and development to Egbaland and Ogun state
