OGUN JOURNALISTS TACKLE GOVERNOR AMOSUN OVER NON-CHALLANT ATTITUDE
The body of journalists itemized six allegations against the governor, which include; his inability to find any of the members worthy of appointment in his government, stoppage of quarterly get together and invitation of journalists outside the state to do the work those within the state are meant to do.
Other allegations said; non-inclusion of union members in some adhoc committee for special duties or occasion (e.g the recently constituted task force on fuel scarcity, sponsorship of seminar and media tour in Ogun State for the State House Press Corps, while similar proposals to him from the state council did not see the light of the day, and reluctance of the state government to construct new secretariat for the council, while the government is insisting on the demolition of the currently inhabited.
The union, in the letter copied Chief of Staff, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Special Adviser Media, declared that, it was in view of the allegations that the governor should look into the issues.
