‘VOTE FOR MY SON AS GOVERNOR TO CONTINUE MY LEGACY’, FORMER ADAMAWA GOVERNOR, NYAKO BEGS ELECTORATES

The former Governor while canvassing votes for his son, said the incumbent Governor, Muhammadu Bindow of All Progressives Congress (APC) had betrayed the people of State who worked for his victory and must be shown the way out.

Penpushing further reports that, Nyake declared that, this was necessary for the state to see the return of empowerment programmes, free education and healthcare introduced during his tenure as Governor of the State.

The former number one citizen of the State, urged the people of Adamawa to ensure peaceful and hitch-free elections, declaring that, “He (Bindow) should be sacked; he has nothing good to offer and we need to try ADC for a change,”

The State Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Yahaya Hammanjulde, in his own remark praised the people of the State for the support shown the party across the State, assuring the people that all abandoned people-oriented projects and programmes initiated by the Nyako administration would be resuscitated.

Penpushing further reports that, the party boss  said the former Governor  would serve as the guarantor to his son in ensuring that he did not derail like the incumbent Governor, recalling that, “we voted Bindow on the agreement that he would revive those programmes, but he betrayed us and must be sacked’.
