OGUN ASSEMBLY RECEIVES AMOSUN’S REQUEST FOR HARMONISED REVENUE BILL
The Assembly in another development congratulated Miss Oluwatobiloba Amusan on her recent feat recorded at the just concluded Commonwealth 100m Hurdles Games held in Gold Coast, Australia, where she won Nigeria’s second gold medal at the tournament.
The Speaker, showered encomium on the Ogun State born -sprinter, who is an alumnus of Our Lady of Apostles, Ijebu-Ode, while responding to the submission of the Minority Leader, Olawale Alausa under Personal Explanation, adding that Amusan’s success was an attestation that the State indigenes were achievers in their various endeavours across the globe.
Earlier, the Minority Leader, who sought for State recognition for the athlete, said she had through her commitment and uncommon zeal for sports positioned Ijebu-Ode and the State on the global reckoning.
