OGTV JOINS DIGITAL STATIONS, WORLD CLASS DIGITAL STUDIO UNDERWAY
At the event, Governor Amosun noted that his administration will create an enabling environment for smooth running of the station, adding that the challenge of content would be addressed, while government presence would soon be felt at the sister station, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC),
“We have acquired new transmitter, two 500 KVA generators and state of the art studio equipment”, saying, the station would be connected to the state’s power plant”, the governor stated.
Speaking at the foundation laying of the digital studio, the Governor assured that come December 25, 2018, the studio would be commissioned.
In their separate goodwill messages, the Minister for Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, the Chairman, Multi choice in Nigeria, Otunba Dewunmi Ogunsanya, the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, unanimously attested to the fact that the event was a reality of the vision, wishing the station great success on the DSTV platform.
The State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Otunba Dayo Adeneye earlier in his welcome address said, apart from the migration, efforts are ongoing by the government to provide the station with additional digital equipment in order to meet up with best practices in the industry
