Odu’a Investment Company board visits two prominent Yoruba monarchs to seek business support

The Management of Odu’a Investment Company Limited on Thursday paid a business visit to two prominent traditional rulers in South-West, which include Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu and Oniru of Iruland, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal
Penpushing reports that, the Group Chairman of the Company, Dr. Segun Aina, led a delegation to the palaces of the monarchs, a visit said to be part of the board focus to engage with business thought leaders in its strategic direction and aspiration drive to sweat, revived and created value for its shareholders.
The group chairman explained that the visit was to solicit the support of the royal fathers and cooperation in the drive towards achieving the company’s strategic goals and vision of becoming a world class conglomerate.
Penpushing further reports that, Aina said, the new mission was to deliver sustainable returns for all stakeholders and enhancing the legacy for future generations, adding that they would also share with the Obas information on Strategic Direction of the Group to embark on integrated projects in priority sectors of the Nigerian economy.
The company boss revealed the Group’s interest is entering new businesses with high potential for growth, profitability and sustainability as well as looking at strategic partnership with technically proven and financially capable partners.
Penpushing also reports that the Oba of Lagos and the Oniru of Iruland in their separate welcome addresses pledge their support for the Conglomerate and charged the conglomerate to create trans-generational and sustainable legacies.
Meanwhile, the delegation included Dr. Tola Kasali, Mrs Folusho Olaniyan, Mr Olugbolahan Mark- George, and Mr Yemi Ejidiran among others.
