Nigerian women journalists condole remi adebiyi over husband’s death
The members of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) led by their President Ifeyinwa Omowole on Friday paid a condolence visit to the immediate past chairperson of Ogun State Chapter of the association, Remi Adebiyi over the loss of her husband.
Penpushing reports that, Omowole pointed out that the late husband was known to be supportive to his wife and the association during his lifetime and enjoined members to rally round the widow and give necessary support especially at this trying period.
The President called on the bereaved wife to take solace in the fact that her husband lived a worthy life and charged members of the association to forge a united front and be their sister’s keeper at all time
.

The list also include: Mrs Adeola Ekine (Chairperson, National Association of Women Journalists, Lagos State), Jadesola Ajibola(Chairperson National Association of Women Journalists Oyo State), Stella Oyebanji,(Secretary National Association of Women Journalists, Oyo State).

The first daughter of the deceased, Mrs Adeola Bamigbade while responding on behalf of the family thanked members of the association for identifying with the family in their grief.
Penpushing also reports that in another development, the National President of the association while reacting to the inauguration of new executives of the Ogun State Chapter urged aggrieved members to set aside their grievances and return to the fold saying that they cannot make any contributions or impact in the association when outside the fold.
