Nigerian National Petroleum Company posts N5.4 trillion net profit in 2024
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) on Monday disclosed that it recorded a net profit of N5.4 trillion at the close of the financial year ending December 2024.
Penpushing reports that Group Chief Executive Officer of the corporation, Bayo Ojulari made this known at a press conference explaining that the release of the audited financial statement is a testament to the company’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
“The 2024 financial results were unveiled today and NNPC recorded a profit after tax of N5.4 trillion at the close of the financial year ending December 2024. The journey started in 2021 when the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) was passed. NNPC is now largely a limited liability company’, he stated.
