Nigerian Government donates operational vehicles to Federal Road Safety Corps
The Nigerian Government has donated 3 Operational vehicles, which include 2 patrol van and an ambulance to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRC), Ogun State Command to address hitches and accidents on the roads.
Penpushing reports that, the vehicles were commissioned for use at the headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) located in Government Reservation Area (GRA),Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.
The Sector Commander, Ahmed Umar who acknowledged receipt of the vehicles was accompanied by other top management of the corps, as well as Commissioner of Police, Special Adviser to the Governor on Security and Secretary Ogun State Security Trust Fund
Penpushing further reports that the Sector Commander, while speaking expressed appreciation to leadership of the corps, for what he described as proactive quality, and assured that the command will make judicious use of the vehicles
The Command boss said, he would equally on personal level supervise the usage of the operational vehicles, assuring the management that they would not be any issue or problem concerning the usage at all time
Penpushing also reports that, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Olushola Subair who commissioned the vehicles said, there was need for the command to be up and doing in regards perfect usage of the vehicles.
The Executive Secretary Ogun State Security Trust Fund, Engr Adeola Shosanwo in his own remarks urged the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) team on proper maintenance of the vehicles, assuring that government is readily available to support the command
Penpushing reports that, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole in his own contributions assured the command that his command and officers will continue to be their partner in other to ensure all the corridors in Ogun state are properly managed.
“I want to assure the sector commander and indeed all officers of the command that Nigeria Police will continue to be your worthy partners so as to ensure that all the corridors in Ogun state are properly manage for the benefit of the computers and other citizens in the state” he said.
