Nigeria Youth Organisation appoints business mogul, Ibrahim Dende life patron

The Nigeria Youth Organisation(NYO), Ogun State Chapter has appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, Chief Executive Officer, IBD Hotels as its life patron in recognition of his outstanding leadership, generosity and selfless contributions to the organization.

Penpushing reports that the Chairman of the body Saka Olanrewaju led other executives to inaugurate Dende as the patron at a ceremony held in Ilaro, Yewa North local government area of the state.

The officers in the team include Ambassador Sekinat Jimoh (Deputy Chairman), Comrade Lamidi Olalekan (Treasurer), Comrade Samuel Adeleye (Secretary), Comrade Abdul Abiodun (Woman leader),,Comrade Aliyu Babatunde (Director Logistics), Comrade Nuriat Aransiola(Special Duties) and Comrade Temitope Bammeke(Vice Chairman Ogun West)

Penpushing further reports that the chairman added that the business mogul was considered for the position following his exceptional contributions and his quest for development and Nigeria’s transformation through advocacies for youth emancipation.

The organization equally recognized his (Dende) community service and contributions towards effective service, dedicated hardwork with advanced excellence, human capital building and humanity as other factors.

Penpushing also reports that the General Secretary of the youth body, Comrade Samuel Adeleye in the secretariat speech explained that the body stands as a unified platform dedicated to the growth, development and empowerment of young people across Nigeria.

‘As a youth-driven organization, our mission is to inspire responsible leadership, promote civic responsibility and equip youths with the skills and mindset required to contribute meaningfully to national development’, he stated.

Penpushing further reports that the inaugurated life patron is a prominent Nigerian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and respected community leader, born in Ilaro and hails from Yewaland, specifically Igbo-Atan quarters in Ebute Igbooro.

The profile has it that his life journey reflects resilience, determination and unwavering commitment to excellence, and despite losing his parents at an early age, remained focus on self development.

The multi-millionaire began his entrepreneurial journey as an apprentice under Alhaji Akeem Adigun, gaining practical experience in clearing, forwarding and international trade, and in 1998 founded IBD Impex Limited, becoming a licenced importer and exporter.
