NIGERIA CUSTOMS GENERATE N21.9 BILLION AS REVENUE FOR YEAR 2018
He said the Federal Government is not relenting in its effort to improve the nation’s economy by ensuring security, particularly at the nation borders which remain priority for the Nigeria Customs Service.

Penpushing further reports that, the customs boss, explained that this amount was gathered in their excise factories from January 2018 till date, noting that this amount represented 90% of the command’s revenue targeted for the year 2018.
The comptroller reiterated the effort of the Comptroller General, Col. Hameed Ali Ibrahim (rtd), noting that the command achievement was made possible by the continuing support and encouragement of the Comptroller General who has continued to motivate and support the officers through the provision of brand new patrol vehicles and other sensitive tools.
He however urged patriotic Nigerians who engage in legitimate business not to entertain any fear, pointing out that the authority was only concern about bringing those who flout the custom law and regulations to book.
“We also want you, pressmen to continue to enlighten Nigerians particularly those who are living in the border communities to desist from smuggling, and they shouldn’t feel like probably Government is depriving them their economic rights.
