NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES COMMISSION GIVES PASS MARK TO KOLADAISI UNIVERSITY OVER ACHIEVEMENTS WITHIN ONE YEAR
He commended the foresight, courage and sacrifices of the Founder, Chief Kola Daisi for his huge investment in the Nigeria education sector, which he noted would be to the benefit of future generations, just as he assured the University of the continuous guidance, collaboration and cooperation of the Commission.
Penpushing also reports that, the Management of the University took the Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), and his team on a facility tour of the University
In his own contribution, the Directors who accompanied the Executive Secretary noted that the University had demonstrated firm commitments towards producing graduates that are capable to lead with confidence and transparency.
The Directors however advised the University Management to continue to identify with the reform agenda of the National Union Commission (NUC), so that graduates of the institution could compete favourably with their counterparts globally.
The Executive Secretary was accompanied on the visit by the Commission’s Director of Research, Innovation and Communication Technology, Dr. Suleiman Raman-Yusuf and the Director of Accreditation, Dr. Noel Biodun Saliu, both of whom in their contributions, respectively commended the Management of the University for its Untiring Pioneering Efforts towards attracting students as well as its quest for more innovative courses.
Earlier in his Welcome Address, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Kolade Ayorinde, thanked the Executive Secretary and his entourage for his interest, encouragement and continuous support in the development of the University.
He disclosed that the progress witnessed in the University within the short time of its operations as noticed by the commission, was the culmination of the doggedness of the University’s Founder, Chief Kola Daisi, the Bashorun of Ibadanland in conjunction with the experienced and dedicated members of both the Board of Trustees and the Governing Council, whom he said had spared no efforts in giving their maximum supports in ensuring that the vision of the University was accomplished.
