Multi-million-naira hotel, Mafis Royal International Hotel berths in Abeokuta

A new multi-million-naira hotels known as Mafis Royal International Hotel has berth in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, said to be brainchild of Alhaja Mojisola Fowowe, a United Kingdom based business mogul and philanthropist.

Penpushing reports that the commissioning of the hotel located at Quarry Road, behind Nigeria Customs service headquarters in the town was attended by number of dignitaries within and outside the country to be part of epoch-making ceremony.

The notable personalities at the events include Osile Oke-Ona Egba Oba Adedapo Tejuoso who commissioned the edifice which comprises state of the art facilities and equipment for the benefits of customers

Penpushing further reports that the commissioning held on Friday was talk of the town, while facility tour round the hotels showed opulent surroundings and world-class amenities., as well as adequate security provided within the vicinity.

The commissioning was equally raised to high heaven as the fuji music maestro Sefiu Alao was on ground entertaining thousands of guests at the ceremony, who were also treated to winning and dinning to the fullest

Penpushing also reports that number of clubs, groups and associations as well as Founder of Penpushing Media Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji were on ground to rejoice with the Chief Executive Officer of the hotel

The proprietress of the hotel Alhaja Mojisola Fowowe, in her opening remarks assured that the hotel promises to be a beacon of elegance and sophistication, offering unparalleled experiences to its guests both far and near.

Penpushing reports that Fowowe emphasized that with the grand opening and commissioning, the hotel has firmly established itself as a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike, adding that the opening marked the beginning of a new chapter in Abeokuta’s hospitality industry.

The Chief Executive Officer of the palatial hotel pointed out in her speech that the Abeokuta city and environs eagerly awaits the unforgettable experiences that the management of the hotel has put in place.

Penpushing further reports that Musiliu Alade Aigoro commended the initiative of the Chief Executive Officer of the hotel, commending the magnificent and exquisite nature of the hotel as a top notch, with world class room service, sumptuous meal and well-trained staff.

‘There is no gainsaying that for every nation to thrive, you have to improve and increase your capacity in productivity, you have to do things that would employ a lot of the young ones, you can only arrest the restiveness of our youths of nowadays by giving them job opportunities. If they are gainfully employed, we will see a dramatic turnaround of our security system in the country’, he said.

Penpushing also reports that Aigoro expressed appreciation to the proprietress who been in diaspora still deem it fit and necessary to contribute to the developmental growth of Nigeria, her country, adding that with the establishment of the hotel, she has reduced unemployment rates in the country

‘She has been wonderful having worked overseas to come down here and establish a business that will create employment to others. I want to encourage a lot of our people that are well to do who have had opportunities to work overseas and have safe enough capital to come back home to set up a business, Nigeria is meant to be great’, he added.

Penpushing reports that in his own contributions’ traditional ruler of Imasayi in Yewa North Local Government area of Ogun State Oba Lukman Kuoye Olamilekan recalled that his first visit to the site while still under construction was motivational

‘The very first day I came here, I was highly impressed for a Nigerian that is working in the UK and deemed it fit that she should come and invest the proceeds from that country in her home town’, Olu of  Imasayi stated.

‘My advice is that those that are still over there should remember home, Looking at what the investment has done to help the economy, she has been able to generate lots of  employment for the youths who earn their living as staff of the  hotel, and the hotels have several joints that are conducive for different classes of people’, he added .
