ENDORSEMENT SAGA: YOU ARE TOO DESPERATE AS GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, LABOUR PARTY TELLS GBOYEGA ISIAKA
He further emphasized that, the adoption was fake and illegal means by certain political scavengers and politically unstable minds individuals to make him Governorship candidate of the party in the State, and also lampooned Isiaka .
Penpushing also recalled that, the factional chapter of the party in the State had last week Friday adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Gubernatorial candidate as its consensus candidate of the party.
Speaking further during a press conference held at Iwe-Iroyin Press Centre, Abeokuta, Arabambi accompanied by the party Governorship Candidate, Modupe Sanyaolu and other candidates as well as National Legal Adviser of the party, Barrister Oyenekan Akingbade, said he was disappointed with Isiaka to have accepted the purported endorsement when he knew that the endorsement was fake.
The party boss said the judgment delivered at the Federal High Court in Abeokuta on June 29, 2018 as well as November 28, 2018 clearly declared Oginni Olaposi and Sunday Owolabi as non-members of Labour Party in Ogun State.
Penpushing also reports that, Arabambi added that, adoption of Isiaka by Oginni Olaposi and Sunday Owolabi amounts to coup plot against the constituted national leadership of Labour Party, describing the adopters as scavengers and unstable political individuals.
He said, “It is crystal clear that Gboyega Nasir Isiaka whom we learnt was the candidate of ADC in Ogun State is very desperate at the moment and his desperate situation makes him do desperate things illegally in other to win election at all cost even if Ogun State is pull down or set on fire.
“It is obvious that, Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka lack political and economic intellectuals to governed a sophisticated state like Ogun with his comical adoption as emergency entertainer governorship candidate of the year’.
“The desperation of the ADC governorship candidate, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka to quickly accept the false adoption is appalling and baffling especially when the Chairman of Labour Party in Ogun State who also doubles as the chairman of IPAC did not approve the said provocative and illegal adoption”.
Penpushing further reports that Arabambi later affirmed the candidature of Ms Modupeola Sanyaolu as Labour Party’s Governorship Candidate in Ogun State, adding that the party was not going back on this, and was also featuring candidates for other positions.
However, the Governorship Candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC),Gboyega Isiaka in his response said, the Labour Party(LP) Chairman in the State, deserves the pity of all reasonable men in the State because of his antecedents
‘The purported Labour Party Chairman, Abayomi Arabambi deserves the pity of all reasonable men in Ogun State. His antecedents precede him and Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka would not join issues with such a fellow; as that will amount to our principal descending from the height of nobility into the mud just to wrestle a swine’.
‘Whatever he has said amount to the nebulous effusions of a political merchant; which is not anchored on any values or modicum of truth. Within the space of months, his faction of the Labour Party and openly fraternized and scooped off pecuniary benefits from GNI, Ladi Adebutu and most recently, Ibikunle Amosun’.
‘As a campaign organisation, we shall not dignify him with any official response because it is is not worth it. We are focused on our campaigns and not distracted by political merchant and professional blackmailers’.
