Mama Awosanya burial ceremony holds May 24 in Lagos

The burial ceremony of Chief (Mrs) Folake Grace Awosanya, mother of Chairman Editorial Board of Penpushing Media, Deaconess Funke Fadugba has been scheduled to hold on May 24, 2025 in Lagos State.

Penpushing reports that it is recalled that Mama Awosanya who was Iyaloja Bakare Bello Market, Araromi Sawmill and Market Leader (Iya Egbe Oloja) Kosofe local Government market Women and Men Association in Lagos died on Tuesday March 18, 2025 at 98.

The family in a statement on the burial ceremony to celebrate the life and times of their mother disclosed that the event will take place at The Marquee, Radio Lagos opposite Coca-Cola Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos State

‘With Submission to God for a life well spent The Families of Awosanya and Akinbajo announce the celebration of the life and times of our Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grand mother ,Sister and Aunty’, the statement stated

‘Chief (Mrs) Folake Grace Awosanya – Obanibasiri was Iyaloja Bakare Bello Market, Araromi Sawmill and Market Leader (ya Egbe Oloja) Kosofe local Government market Women and Men Association’, the statement reads

‘The date is May 24, 2025 while the venue is The Marquee, Radio Lagos opposite Coca-Cola Agidingbi, Ikeja from 10am – 5pm May her gentle soul rest in peace, Amen’, the statement stated

Penpushing further reports that the management of Penpushing Media had earlier written a letter of condolence signed by the founder, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji on behalf of membership across the globe to commiserate with the family

The letter captioned ‘Penpushing media celebrates Mama Folake Asosanys’s fulfilled life’ stated that the news of the death came as a thunderbolt to the management and was difficult to believe when it hit the airwave.

‘It was difficult to believe when the sad news spread like wildfire, indeed, the demise was big blow to the family and our organization. No doubt we will miss her, and her death is a huge loss to the Penpushing Platform where her daughter is the chairman editorial board while it is indisputable that her legacies are immense and remain indelible in our hearts’, the letter reads.

‘Her mentorship role to many people which cut across all gender, and ethics as well as religion deployed her Godly wealth of experiences to better the lot of the society, while it is our prayer that God shall grant her eternal rest’, it added.

‘Hopefully, we had envisaged that a loving soul and this great woman would be with us for a long time, but it has pleased the Almighty God, the unquestionable, to take her home for a deserved rest. Adieu, Mama good night’, Kayode-Adedeji wrote
