Maiden edition trade exhibition organized by Lions club holds in Lagos
The maiden edition of Trade Exhibition, organized by the Lions Club International District 404 B2, Nigeria in collaboration with Lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperative with the theme “Unveiling the Business Potentials of Lion Members’, took place on Thursday in Lagos State.
Penpushing reports that, the Chairman Ogun State Chambers of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture(Agbara/Ota Chapter), Mrs Cynthia Saka in her speech at the occasion explained that the Trade Exhibition is the initiative of the District Governor of the club, Lion Kayode Oshinuga.
The chambers boss said the District Governor has shown how passionate he is about the development of the Nigerian economy and the entrepreneurship at large, stressing that, the mission of the exhibition was to empower Lions clubs, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being.
Penpushing further reports that, Saka added that it was equally aimed to strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impact lives globally, as well as encourage peace and international understanding, and to be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.
‘In line with the objective of the Lion Club, which is service to humanity, this Trade Exhibition is being organized to serve as a veritable platform for exhibitors to showcase their products and services to the general public’, she said.
Penpushing also reports that, Saka stated that, participants are expected to leverage on the networking opportunities as the event will provide, showcases some of the great and unique business opportunities that abound in Lagos.
‘It is a well known fact that the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) are the engine room of economic development of many developed nations. Events such as this are geared towards unveiling the business potentials of Nigerians especially our members against the prevailing economic challenges in the country’.
Penpushing reports that, she enjoined all participants to maximize the opportunity provided by this trade exhibition, stressing that as they participate, their businesses will continue to grow and the day will forever be remembered for good.
Meanwhile, Saka expressed appreciation to District Governor of the club and all the Lion club leaders, as well as all participants for creating great opportunity to serve.
