Lipede royal family mourns demise of olori bimpe lipede

The Lipede royal family in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital has lamented the loss of Olori Bimpe Lipede, widow of the late Alake and Paramount ruler of  of Egbaland, Oba Oyebade Lidepe who  also passed on in 2005 after reigning for three decades.

Penpushing reports that the family in a statement captioned ‘Royal Passage’, issued by Prince Adeyanju Lipede said the family announced the passage of the widow with heavy hearts which occurred on Thursday, November 11,2021

‘With heavy hearts, the entire Lipede Royal Family of Erunwon, Ake, Abeokuta announce the passing unto glory of our dear wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, Olori Adebimpe Lipede which occured on Thursday, 11th November, 2021’.Lipede wrote

‘She was aged 69. Olori Adebimpe Lipede was the wife of immediate past Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, HRM Oba Mofolorunsho Oyebade Lipede. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.May the Lord grant the beloved Olori eternal rest’ the statement reads..

Penpushing further reports that, the Olori died on her birthday, and until her death was a staunch member of the Redeem Christian Church of God(RCCG) and old student of Abeokuta Grammar School, Abeokuta
