DIMEJI BANKOLE WINS ACTION DEMOCRATIC PARTY GOVERNORSHIP TICKET, AS ABIOLA’S DAUGHTER PICKS HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SLOT

Penpushing reports further that, the Returning Officer commended the party for good conduct before, during and after the congress, adding that after the free, fair and credible congress, the former number four citizen of Nigeria emerged as the party Governorship flagbearer.

He added that, the congress took place in all the twenty local government areas and 236 wards in the State, which produced all the party candidates in the three Senatorial Districts, as well as the House of Representatives candidates.

‘I commended the party for good conduct of the primaries. The election took place in all twenty local government areas, and the 236 wards, with participation of all delegates. The election was peaceful, fair and credible. So by the power confer on me as the Returning Officer, I hereby declare the former Speaker House of Representatives, Rt Hon Dimeji Bankole as the party Governorship Candidate in Ogun State, in the forthcoming general elections’

The State Chairman of the party, Chief Wale Egunleti in his remark said, with the election of the party’s candidates across all elective positions, Action Democratic Party(ADC) has crossed the Rubicon, adding that the next step is to commence intensive campaign.

‘Today, we have crossed the Rubicon, and no going back. This is a war we must win. We have covered all 36 wards to present our candidates. This is the party that wants to take the younger ones to greater height. We have done our job and come to limelight’, Egunleti emphasised
