Leadership of German Chamber of Commerce visits family of late Iyalode Alaba Lawson

Penpushing reports that the team led by the Chief Executive Officer, Matthias Leder were received by children of the deceased led by first child and son Akinola Lawson at Alaba Lawson Royal College located in Kuto area of Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

The team during the condolence visit was accompanied by officials of the Ogun State Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture(OGUNCCIMA), as well as some stakeholders in the businesses community in the state

Penpushing further reports that Leder in his speech lamented the loss of Lawson adding that she was a household name in the chamber of commerce globally having contributed positively and immensely to the growth of the industry, stressing that her legacy will continue to live for ever, and beyond the shore of her country Nigeria.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Germany Chamber recalled number of programmes already line up by Lawson which further aimed to propagate the body activities and performances, regretting that death denied her the opportunity to contribute her known positive quota, stressing that the deceased is  always seeing to the future

Penpushing also reports that the team pointed out that Lawson who was the first National President of Nigeria Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture(NANCCIMA) was a driving force in all ramifications, adding that it was significant for the German team of chamber of commerce to visit the bereaved family

The management said Lawson served chambers to the fullest and she was always admired by all and sundry, pointing out that she was always optimistic while her zeal was motivational to the commerce and business world

“Lawson was a driving force. It is utmost significant to visit the family. The memory will stay forever. She was always seeing to the future, always optimistic. I admire her zeal”, Leder emphasized

Penpushing reports that Akinola Lawson earlier in his speech on behalf of the family said it was after the demise of their mother, they realised her weight in every sectors across the globe , explaining that this became glaring from comments of people and organisations which had close contact with her during her life time.

The first child of the family expressed appreciation to the team, and equally extended such to numerous number of support they(family) received during their trying period, adding that the support before and the burial was overwhelming and prayed God to continue to enrich each individual and organisations, assuring that they will keep the deceased flying positively
