Lagos State Police Command arrest scores of night club fans for violating coronavirus protocols

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested scores of funseekers found clubbing at about 1am on Saturday in Surulere area of the State, a crime contrary to the protocols and guidelines of coronavius.

Penpushing reports that, the Commissioner of Police, Hammed Odumosu personally led his team on the midnight raid and stormed on Lounge 38, Bode Thomas, Surulere, where number of youths were found clubbing

The scores of the addicted fun seekers were immediately arrested, and in the same vein the police team arrested some residents and motorists for violating the 12 to 4am curfew at Maryland.

Penpushing further reports that, the Commissioner vowed to do everything possible with the ambit of the law to enforce the coronavirus orders and the halt the spread of the pandemic in Lagos State.

The latest record of coronavirus case as at Friday evening showed that,  new cases of 1,544 have been recorded with Lagos State leading with 739, followed by Plateau(168),Federal Capital Territory(153, Oyo State (91),Nassarawa(90),Rivers(80), Kaduna(35) and Edo(33)

Penpushing also reports that others are Kano(29), Ogun(21),Delta(19),Sokoto(16),Akwa Ibom (11),Ebonyin(11),Enugu(10),Osun(10),Niger(9),Bauchi(8),,Kenbbi(8), Kastina(2) and Taraba(1), while total figures  confirmed cases in Nigeria as at the time of filing this reports revealed, 97,478 reported cases ,78,552 discharged and 1,342 deaths
