Lagos state government seals off popular nightclub
The Lagos state government has sealed off Silk Club, a popular nightclub located at 190, Awolowo Road in Ikoyi, over noise pollution by officials of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) having conducted a nighttime enforcement operation in the area.
Penpushing reports that Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab made this know on Saturday via his X handle, emphasizing that the club was shut as a result of noise pollution within the axis and environs
‘As I directed, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency @LasepaOfficial conducted a nighttime enforcement operation, leading to the closure and sealing of Silk Club at 190, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi due to noise pollution’, Wahab posted.
