
Labour Party gets new executives in Ogun state
The Labour Party (LP) Ogun state chapter has inaugurated new executives of the party to pilot the affairs of the party for the next three years, as well as preparatory for the forthcoming 2027 general elections
Penpushing reports that the ceremony was held on Monday at Iwe-Iroyin Press Centre, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, which attracted hundreds of party supporters across the twenty local government areas of the state.
The inaugurated officials include Oluwabukola Soyoye (Chairperson), Prince Ayodele Olaseni (Deputy Chairman), Prince Ade Adesanya (Secretary), Fesomade Gbadebo (Treasurer), Olusola Olufemi (Publicity Secretary) and Akinlabi Joseph (Youth Leader).

Penpushing further reports that Chairperson of the party, in her acceptance speech pledged to work tirelessly to ensure the party remains a beacon of hope, unity and progress for the people, pointing out that building a nation requires collective contributions, adding that citizens must be actively involved in building the Nigeria of their dream.
“We have come a long way, and I thank each and every one of you for placing your trust in me. I promise to be a leader who listens, who empowers, and who serves with integrity and dedication’, she stated.

“Together, let us build a Nigeria where every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Let us work towards a society where our people can live with dignity, and where our nation can prosper and grow”, Soyoye said
Meanwhile, National Vice Chairman, South West, Abayomi Arabambi who conducted the inauguration, explained that the party is positioning itself ahead of the general elections in 2027, and equally called on the new executives to maintain the unity and peace within the party, while ensuring that it fielded candidates into all 40 elective positions in 2027.
