Kashamu’s death, a lesson for all, says obasanjo
Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo said the death Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) chieftain in Ogun State Senator Buruji Kashamu should be seen as lessons for those of all us on this side of the veil.
Penpushing reports that, Obasanjo stated this in condolence message to the Ogun State Government, adding that the death was sad, and called on God to forgive his (Kashamu) sin and accept his soul into Aljanah, as well as prayed that God grant his family and friends fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. .
The copy of the condolence letter made available to journalists, by his Special Assistant Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, Obasanjo said Kashamu in his lifetime used the maneuver of law and politics to escape from facing justice on alleged criminal offences within and outside Nigeria
“Senator Esho Jinadu (Buruji Kashmu) in his lifetime used the maneuver of law and politics to escape from facing justice on alleged criminal offence in Nigeria and outside Nigeria’, Obasanjo said.
“But no legal, political, cultural, social or even medical maneuver could stop the cold hands of death when the Creator of all of us decides that the time is up.May Allah forgive his sin and accept his soul into Aljanah, and may God grant his family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”, he wrote
