Jonathan calls on former Presidents to close ranks in interest of Nigeria
The Nigeria’s former President Goodluck Jonathan has on Friday appealed to all former Presidents and political leaders in the country to stop fighting each other for the sake of the country, and those being governed.
Penpushing reports that Jonathan made the appeal when he visited President Bola Tinubu after a closed doors meeting held at Aso rock Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), stressing on need to jointly move the country forward
The former President who spoke with journalists after his meeting with Tinubu emphasized that there was a need to bring Nigerian political leaders including former presidents together and prevent them from fighting for the sake of the country.
Penpushing further reports that the former President told journalists that his discussion with Tinubu was about the country, adding that he (Jonathan) would henceforth be frequent as the State House in view that the country must move forward
