JAWJAW AFRICA MOURNS KOFI ANNAN

“The Management of Jaw Jaw Africa mourns Kofi Anan. This death is indeed one too many as Kofi is a key advocate of conflict prevention and resolution”, the statement reads and also pleaded with the Islamic Sect Boko Haram to embrace dialogue.

“We wish to commiserate with the family of Kofi Annan and pray that God Almighty grant them the strength to bear the loss of this Nobel laureate. We must also use this medium to urge youths to be advocates of dialogue as a viable means of conflict prevention and resolution.”

“Meeting Jaw to Jaw is obviously a far better course than war war. We are using this medium to plead with Boko Haram and all warring parties across the world to honour Kofi by dropping their guns and seeking peace. Please embrace dialogue.”,the statement added
