International Press Institute World Congress kicks off Wednesday in Austria
The International Press Institute (IPI) annual World Congress for journalists will take off on Wednesday September 15 to September 17, 2021 in Vienna Austria, an event designed to be both virtual and physical for over 2,000 members.
Penpushing reports that, at the conference, Nigerian members which include: Raheem Adedoyin(Executive Board member) and Folu Olamiti member of the Board of Trustees Nigeria Chapter will have their appointments ratified at the congress
The Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of Premium Times, Dapo Olorunyomi has been confirmed as one of the panelists at the global event, while some of the topics to be discussed are: Innovation in Distribution of News on Messaging Platforms; Think Globally, Report Locally: The Future of News is Local.
Penpushing further reports that ,this year congress is coming two years after the last one that was held in Geneva, while last year’s congressional could not hold because of coronavirus pandemic.
